Donovan started doing 3D animation work at the age of 13, when he was introduced to CINEMA 4D at a community college class in Berkeley, CA. Shortly after,Donovan's enthusiasm and skill earned him an invitation to demo for MAXON Computer at trade shows and special events. Not one to settle, Donovan began dabbling in plugin development for CINEMA 4D and even authored a couple of chapters in a CINEMA 4D how-to book. Over the last few years, Donovan has been teaching computer arts & drama at an arts-themed high school in the San Francisco East Bay.

Chris Tarantino is an expert at color management and retouching and has worked in the retouching and color correcting field since 1983. Chris has been described as someone who "breaks" Photoshop to make it work better. His retouching work has graced many fashion and beauty magazines worldwide, including Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Harper's Bazaar. Doing pre-production 3D creature development in collaboration with a designer is mostly about ideation and exploration. In this capacity it is also important to have a generalist's skill-set that includes modeling, texturing, shading, rigging, lighting, animation, integration, effects and most importantly, speed. For example, being able to rig, animate and render a creature animation in a day. Granted it will be rough, but it helps guide the design process.
